File size, tokens, speed, and cost
The OM comparison assumes a 60-page, 15 MB PDF. The downloadable Deal Brief sample measures 43,790 bytes and 9,050 text tokens using o200k_base tokenization; other models count differently. File bytes and AI tokens measure different things. PDF processing can include extracted text and page images; the Brief supplies text alone. Fewer input tokens can reduce metered API cost. Actual token use and response speed depend on the model and how it handles files; this does not lower a flat-rate chat subscription.
